To north is a younger stand with similar floristics, which is still remarkably low in weeds, but most recent wildlife openings nearby are dominated by Lonicera japonica and Rosa multiflora.;Dolomite outcrops on on lower slope shoulder just above floodplain. Forest with scattered large oaks and medium sized oaks, sugar maple, and ash in canopy over a lush herb layer with a showy display of larkspur and phlox at the sampling date. There are some weeds in plot but the flora is dominated by native herbs including many rich site indicators.
